I am Shane Perry and I am certified as a North Carolina Superior Court Mediator as well as a Mediator in the North Carolina Federal Courts. I am available to assist you and your clients in resolving disputes filed in any North Carolina county or Federal District. I also assist with pre-litigation mediation of disputes.
As a business owner for decades, I have negotiated deals since the mid-1990s, for everything from publishing rights to mining equipment. I regularly negotiate deals with the largest companies in the world and have settled agreements in construction, transportation, music, motorsports, television, banking and too many other areas to list.
I have practiced in every level of court up to the United States Supreme Court and North Carolina Supreme Court, in courtrooms from the coast to the mountains and everywhere in between. I am licensed to practice in North Carolina and Washington D.C. and admitted in all three federal districts of North Carolina. I have seen a lot.
I have a significant background in complex civil litigation including personal injury cases, complex business agreements, consumer rights issues, bankruptcy, credit reporting, debt collection, contract disputes, mortgage issues, unfair and deceptive trade practices, entertainment law including music, television and motorsports, and now admiralty claims.
I take a practical approach to mediation. I know that the cases that I mediate are important, often life-changing, for the parties. I am relentless about resolution and believe that every case, even the hardest ones, can find common ground in mediation.
I am a constant student of the law, so I can understand and explain complex and esoteric arguments during mediation. And I want the case to resolve in mediation as much as you do. Trust me with your mediation and I will give my best effort for resolution.
I can mediate by Zoom or in person in Iredell county and the surrounding counties.
Our mediation services are billed at $350 per hour plus a $175 administrative fee, with the exception of cases assigned by the state, which follow state fee guidelines. Call the office at 704-663-4187 or email [email protected] to schedule your mediation.
